Traditional Funeral Service

A traditional service offered by Laurel Oaks Funeral Home consists of funeral director and staff, embalming, other preparation of remains, use of stateroom for viewing, use of staff, facilities and equipment for funeral ceremony in our chapel or church of your choice, transfer of remains to our funeral home, funeral coach, utility vehicle, clergy car, memorial register book and acknowledgment cards.
Graveside Service with Viewing

A graveside service with viewing consists of: funeral director and staff, embalming, other preparation of remains, use of stateroom for viewing, use of staff and equipment for graveside service, transfer of remains to funeral home, funeral coach to go to the graveside, utility vehicle, clergy car, memorial register book and acknowledgment cards.
Graveside Service with out Viewing
$2,840.00
A graveside service with out viewing consists of: funeral director and staff, refrigeration, use of equipment and staff for graveside service, transfer of remains to funeral home, handling of unembalmed remains, funeral coach to go to the graveside, utility vehicle, clergy car, memorial register book, and acknowledgment cards. Note: Refrigeration will be required after 24 hours.
Immediate Burial
$1,295.00
The charge for immediate burial includes transfer of remains to our funeral home from a point within a 50 mile radius, local transportation to cemetery, necessary authorizations, and services of funeral director and staff. Immediate burial means to go to the cemetery as soon as possible after death has occurred. Viewing ceremonies, rites, services, procession to the cemetery, refrigeration, casket, outerburial container, cemetery property, etc. are not a part of the immediate burial and you are not being charged for those services. The time of burial will be at a time convenient to the funeral home. Note: Refrigeration will be required after 24 hours.
Direct Cremation
$1,295.00
Direct cremation includes transfer of remains to our funeral home from a point within a 50 mile radius, securing doctor's signature, filing death certificate with proper authorities, securing cremation authorizations and/or permits, services of funeral director and staff, and crematory charges. It also includes, refrigeration, medical examiner permits, and a fiberboard container.
Alternative containers encase the remains and can be made of materials such as fiberboard or composition materials (with or without outside covering). The containers we provide are fiberboard.
Direct Cremation with Memorial Service
$1,740.00
This option includes: transfer of remains to our funeral home from a point within a 50 mile radius, securing doctor's signature, filing death certificate with proper authorities, securing cremation authorizations and/or permits, services of funeral director and staff, crematory charges, refrigeration, medical examiner permits, fiberboard container and use of staff, facilities and equipment for memorial ceremony in our chapel.
- Some cemeteries may not require an outer burial container.
- All services are within a 50 mile radius of Laurel Oaks Funeral Home.
Additional mileage will be $2.00 per mile, one way, per vehicle.
- Merchandise & Cash Advance items not included: casket, outer
burial container, cemetery charges, honorariums, flowers,
obituaries, death certificates, etc.
